On April 22, 2024, UnitedHealth Group issued a press release, providing an update on the Change Healthcare cybersecurity incident that occurred on Feb. 21, 2024. Given the size of the data impacted, the investigation to determine whose data is impacted is expected to take several months. UnitedHealth Group believes this situation will impact “a substantial proportion of people in America” and is offering immediate credit monitoring and identity protection services, as well as a dedicated contact center to address questions. Qualifying Healthy Activities

  • Earn $20 by getting a Flu Vaccine
  • Earn $20 by getting a Breast Cancer Screening
  • Earn $20 by getting Ongoing Diabetes Care
  • Earn $20 by going to a Follow-Up Visit after Inpatient Hospitalization
  • Earn $20 by getting a Colon Cancer Screening

Redeeming Rewards

Reward dollars patients earn are added to a My Health Pays Visa® Prepaid Card. Your patients will receive their first card by mail after they earn their first reward.

They can use their My Health Pays Visa Prepaid Card to help pay for:

  • Utilities
  • Transportation
  • Telecommunications
  • Education
  • Rent

Or, they can use them to:

  • Shop at Walmart for everyday items**

**This card may not be used to buy alcohol, tobacco, or firearms products.

Redeeming Rewards

Reward points earned by members can be used to shop for items at the online My Health Pays® Rewards Store or they can be converted into dollars and spend on healthcare-related items. 

Rewards can be used to help pay for:

    • Monthly premium payments
    • Doctor copays*
    • Deductibles
    • Coinsurance
  • Monthly bills such as:
    • Utilities (gas, electric, water)
