COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA (April 28, 2009) —Absolute Total Care today announced that Lilly J. Randolph, M.D., has been appointed Medical Director. This appointment is effective immediately. Dr. Randolph will be based in the corporate office in Columbia, S.C. and will report to Aaron Brace, Absolute Total Care’s Plan President and Chief Executive Office.

Dr. Randolph has been serving the South Carolina community for over 10 years, enabling her to understand the unique needs of members in the state.”

Dr. Randolph has more than 20 years of experience in the medical field, specifically in primary care, urgent care and emergency medicine. Most recently, she was Medical Director for CHCcares of South Carolina, where she oversaw the Quality Improvement, Utilization/Case Management and Credentialing programs. She also worked closely with Network Development, Contracting and Provider Relations to develop strong relationships with the provider community and healthcare facilities. Dr. Randolph has an Internal Medicine private practice in South Carolina, in which she provides primary care to patients age 12 and older.

Dr. Randolph received a Bachelor of Science from South Carolina State College and a Medical Doctorate from Washington University School of Medicine, based in St. Louis, Missouri. She also has certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Medical Examiners.
